So the past two weeks have been absolutely crazy at our house…. We moved from our little apartment to a little townhouse. Moving is sooooooo not fun with a 1 1/2 year old. Then after a couple days of being at our new place we got to have Nana come visit!!!! She likes to come visit when we move so she can help. This time we ended up moving a week before her stay which made it nice. This trip was about us girls and doing girly things with Madeline.
First we went to the Cabbage Patch Hospital in Cleveland, Georgia. Ever since a friend told me about this place I’ve always wanted to go. I knew this would be a fun place for us girls to start our fun week of adventures!
My first doll was cabbage patch and I remember loving it so much! My mom said she found me crying one night in bed and she rushed in to see what was the matter… I said ” Mommy I’m sad because my babies friends are all left at the store.” Well that sure worked on my mom because we went to the store and I got another cabbage patch kid!! So going to this Cabbage Patch Hospital wasn’t only for Madeline, it was for my mom and I too! We had a wonderful day getting to watch the live birth of a new Cabbage Patch being brought into this world! We even got to help name her Rosie Madeline. Madeline ended up adopting another baby from the patch named Harley. She loves her new doll and plays with her lots! Coming and visiting the hospital was a lot of fun and worth the 1 1/2 hour drive!!
Now another fun Day with Nana was spent at the Atlanta Zoo! The weather was perfect and sunny! We got to see lots of animals. Madeline liked being the boss and led us all over the park!
Another fun day with Nana was getting to go to the American Girl Doll Store! Now, Again, My mom and I have a story to go along with this. When I was about 2nd grade I wanted an American Girl doll so bad. Back then they were so new and very expensive. They had just come out and so paying $100 bucks for a dolls wasn’t going to happen for me. So to this day I still hang that over my parents head. So for Madeline’s 1st birthday I wanted them to buy her an American Girl Doll. For now we settled for the itty bitty baby and Madeline just loves her too! You can see again in these pictures that she had a great time at the shop looking and playing with the dolls stuff! Can’t wait to take her back to keep adding to her collection!
So as you can she by all the pictures we had a wonderful visit with Nana! All things must come to an end and Nana has to find her way back into “the box” ….. the iPad for Skype. We had a wonderful time and made a lot of fun memories!!
