If I’m in the mood for something sinfully sweet and salty this is what I make. I could go on for days about how much I love this candied bacon! This is a simply and easy recipe that will make you wanting more and more!
1 lb sliced bacon
1/2 cup brown sugar
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Line a baking sheet with foil. This will help for a very easy clean up! Then place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet.
Lay out the bacon over the rack. Once all the bacon is laid out sprinkle the brown sugar all over the bacon. Place the bacon in the oven and cook for 15 minutes, until bacon becomes crisp and the sugar has melted over the bacon.
I like to then broil on high for two minutes to add more crisp to the bacon and to caramelize the sugar!
Let the bacon cool before attacking it! Enjoy!
