- 1 cup fresh blackberries
- 1 small fresh jalapeño
- ½ teaspoon of pure honey
Slice the jalapeño length wise and rerom only one side. Leave some seeds for a more spicy move the seeds ftaste. Take the rest of the jalapeño and give it a rough chop and place it in a small sauce pan. Add the fresh blackberries and honey in the sauce pan as well.
With a potato masher start to mash all the ingredients together. Once the mashing is complete, cook all the ingredients on a stove top at medium to low heat for approximately 5-10 minutes. When the blackberries and jalapeño start to create a thick sauce, take the pan off the burner and let cool.
Serve the sauce warm over steaks, meatballs, cream cheese, brie, or whatever you decide. Enjoy!
